Thursday morning, 4am

Not the message i wanted to share with you, but last nite things took a turn for the worse. Natalia struggled in clearing her CO2 levels and a decision was made to put her on a ventilator. She is now resting and is not in pain, so overall this is a good thing since she won't have to suffer the way she has for the last number of months. She is still at St. Michael's hospital but will be transferred to Toronto General Hospital later today where she will wait for the lungs to arrive.

So keep praying and hoping and spreading the word about Organ Donation. I am really sorry to have to tell you this, it really hurts me to write it since i know how much you all care and love Natalia, and how invested you are in her recovery. I have a strong belief that a donor will be found. Really do.

Thank you from our entire family.

Hi John:

Sending you all lots of prayers and love. It's really hard to know what to say right now. I hope that Nat is comfortable and that the ventilator helps to abide the time until her lungs come. Please let me know if there is anything that we can do. I am just east of the city.

I only know Natalia through being facebook friends but I have been following her blog for quite some time and now your blog, keeping us updated on Natalia's condition.
If prayers are what is going to get Natalia those new lungs then they must be on their way soon as I'm sure many, many people are praying for her.
Natalia certainly has shown everyone what a strong person she is and there is no doubt that she will get through this.

Hi John,
I am so deeply saddened to read this. However I am so glad that Natalia is being given some relief, due to the assistance of the ventilator. I am hoping that this new move, will give them the push they need to actively start looking for organs for Nat. I feel it in my heart that she will get through this, and she will receive those lungs. I am praying and thinking of all of you, as always.
Sending love to Natalia and all of you,
Ramona
